Available for Adoption Leonbergers "Patience" - "Patience" is a Great Pyrenees Leonberger young female.  We originally brough ther her as a young puppy.  Her mother was a Great Pyrenees livestock guardian protecting chickens and goats when she and her mom were bought by a Llama ranch in Wyoming to guard the Llamas.  They had her there for one day with her 3 month old puppy, "Patience," but they forgot to properly introduce her to the Llamas and did not realize that she would not understand they were the same as chickens and goats and in need of protection.  Her mother, instead, had never seen a huge Llama and thought of them as a threat to her young baby puppy, "Patience."  When the mother barked at the Llamas and "Patience" barked her puppy bark, too, the owner of the Llama farm wrote a note on the internet that if someone did not pick up both the mom and the puppy by the next day, he was going to shoot them both.  Fortunately, we had a driver in the area picking up other dogs in need of rescue and we rescued them too. "Patience" came here at 3 months old and was adopted along with three other dogs in to a wonderful home who has loved and adored her.  Unfortunately, her adoptive dad hit very hard times and had to move to another state to find work and returned her and her brothers and sister to us for readoption.  She is currently here with her two adoptive brothers and sister, Paris the Whippet who says "I Love You too", Truman the Greyhound that we originally brought her from Missouri and Jasmine the Great Dane.  All of them are looking for great homes and they can be adopted individually or together.  "Patience" is loving and sweet but is a young dog who also is exuberant.  She loves to run around with Paris and then roll on the ground and wait for him to pounce on her and pull her around.  Then they take a break and do it again.  The are quiet and well trained inside but play outside with eachother and all the others.  "Patience" is looking for the best forever home on earth where she will be loved and adored and happy and safe for life.
