Burt Ward Featured on Internet Pet HealthRadio Show

Pet HealthRadio, an innovative digital talk show, welcomed actor Burt Ward, who played Robin on the Batman television series, as the first guest on the show’s September debut. The streaming audio, available on demand at HealthRadio.net, features Ward discussing his passion for dogs and Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions, the organization he formed with his wife, Tracy.

After rescuing a Great Dane in distress, Burt and Tracy learned about dozens of other Great Danes that also needed homes. A call about two Great Danes they were interested in brought some disturbing news: The dogs had been destroyed. This experience, coupled with their love of animals, compelled the Wards to create Gentle Giants. Adopting more than 1,000 giant- and small-breed dogs each year from across America, Gentle Giants offers behavioral training and socialization for all of them.
