Hi Tracy and Burt,
Oh no, more Mommy Brag pictures . . .
For the first time "Brittney" and I watched you on Pet Story yesterday morning. I enjoyed it.
And, by "Brittney's" concentration on the TV, I think she enjoyed it as well.
I had fun enhancing one other picture of her and attached it below for fun!
Hope you enjoy the photos!

that every Gentle Giant receives!
"Brittney" remembers how she was rescued and how Tracy and Burt helped her find a loving new home!
"Brittney" learns important health care information from
Dr. T. Ron Vered, one of our fantastic veterinarians
I found it several months ago and can't get enough!
I am living vicariously through you and your family-being able to make so many animals and people happy.
My 5 year old loves to look at the pictures of the "puppy playhouse" all the time and has to know the name of each one - she is very interested in "Avalanche!"
I am very interested in adopting, but I would like to run some details by you first.
I am a Special Ed teacher in San Jose.
I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old who is visually impaired and developmentally delayed (mild).
In February of this year, we adopted a Jack Russell who had been abandoned in a box in a parking lot of a vets office with 2 other dogs in the same box.
Apparently, the other 2 were easier to find homes for because they were younger.
The vet estimates that "Eddie" (yes, I know its the same name as the dog on Frasier) is between 6 to 8 years old and is deaf.
When we got him he was skin and bones, nervous and shaking all the time.
I am very glad to report that he is now happy and energetic and my daughter calls him 'HER' baby, since she does everything for him!
"Eddie" was never altered and several vets say he is too old for the anesthesia.
Training is slow going because he can't hear, but we have made progress!
Why am I giving you all this info?
I haven't filled out the adoption application form yet, but I wanted to give some background to see if you would even consider us as an adoptive family.
I saw "Bumper" and didn't realize until I read it the second time that he had been adopted!
I don't have a big yard . . . we have a townhouse and a fenced in patio.
I am rambling, so I will end this by saying I hope to hear from you soon!!!

More Of Your Correspondence
Hello Gentle Giants!
My name is James Barksdale, and I am writing in regards to an Adoption Application that I sent in Tuesday.
I'm checking my e-mail about every 30 minutes hoping to hear from you . . . we're so excited!
I just wanted to make sure that the application made it through.
I e-mailed it from my work account and sometimes it gets clogged up.
My family and I have read every single link on your website over and over.
We are so excited to hear from you.
You guys are so awesome for what you are doing for all those beautiful pups.
I hope we can help.
Thanks so much,
James
Dear Burt, Tracy, and other members of the Gentle Giant family,
I would first like to tell you how appreciative and thankful I am for you and your family for creating such a deeply remarkable program dedicated to serving these wonderful animals.
I know from reading other e-mails on your site that your work has changed the lives of each family who have been entrusted with a dane or other Gentle Giant into their home.
Your passion and dedication to these dogs is both touching and inspiring.
We have spent a great deal of thought, time, and research into the decision to possibly adopt a Great Dane, and our long search with many long, late hours on the internet have finally pointed us to you and your Gentle Giants.
From the bottom of our hearts, our family and I would love nothing more than to have the opportunity to share our life with a rescued dane, and I am sure our chocolate Labrador "Beau" would feel the same way as well!
Below is my application to adopt a Gentle Giant.
I sincerely hope that you and your family will consider us!
My daughter and I would love to come and visit you guys as soon as possible, and hopefully leave there with another member to add to our family!
We are so excited and will be anxiously awaiting your reply.
Thank you again so much!
With great admiration,
Janet Costella
(as well as the other members of our human and animal family)
